Sarah Cosgrove Gaumond is currently working with the Strand Theater in Baltimore, Maryland. She trained as an actor with Sanford Meisner, Richard Pinter, and William Alderson at the Neighborhood Playhouse and earned a Bachelor of Science in Acting and Directing at Illinois State University, studying with Jean Scharfenberg, Cal Pritner, John Sipes, John Kirk, Douglas Harris, and participating in workshops with Jose Quintero and Uta Hagen. Sarah has also studied acting with Kyle Donnelly, Jeff Perry, Steve Scott, Kathy Scambiatterra, Barbara Gaines, Richard Kordos, voice with Gillian Lane-Plescia, and playwrighting with Charles Smith. She studied theater and philosophy at the University of Iowa while performing with the Writers Work Shop. In Chicago, her credits include: Savage in Limbo (Inn Town Theater Company), for which she received a Jeff Citations Nomination for Supporting Actress; After the Fall, Orpheus Descending,The Seagull, Staged Reading (The Artistic Home); Hermione (Director’s Festival at Bailiwick Theater); The Idea of Chaos at Key West (Pride Festival at Bailiwick Theater); The Goldfish Bowl, Staged Reading (The Organic Theater); Do You See What I’m Saying?(Chameleon Productions); and, The Four Gifts(Urban Gateways Center for Arts Education). Her film credits include: La Stanza Acconto/The Room Next Door (Duea Films); A League of Their Own (Columbia Pictures); Mad Dog and Glory (Scorsese Productions); Ten Million Dollars/No Sense (Big Cat Productions); The Grandchild (Columbia College Film Department). Sarah has collaborated with playwrights on original material at The Organic Theater and The Artistic Home, where she directed the original staging of Heyday and of ‘Night Lo. Her television credits include: Good night, Sweet Wife (CBS); The Johnny Ryan Story (NBC); and Jack and Mike (ABC). In addition, she teaches acting to all ages, and has worked with Artstream in the Montgomery County School System in Maryland.   1. I love this new series of photos of the sky and trees. They are sooooo peaceful and serene….and inviting. I love getting lost in them.
